In today's second match, Janakpur defeated Karnali Yaks by 8 wickets. Chasing a target of 142 runs, Janakpur achieved it in 15.1 overs, losing 2 wickets. Earlier, Karnali, who won the toss and elected to bat first, scored 141 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 7 wickets. Janakpur is at the top with 4 points after winning two consecutive matches. Janakpur had won the first match by 8 wickets against Biratnagar Kings.
In today's first match, Chitwan Rhinos defeated Kathmandu Gurkhas by 5 wickets. 8 teams are participating in the NPL, which will run until Paush 6. After the round-robin league, the top 4 teams will enter the playoffs.
