Dec 02, Kathmandu- The results of the counting of votes for 37 seats in the local level by-elections held on Sunday have been made public so far. The Election Commission has stated that the counting of votes is currently underway for the mayor of Kirtipur Municipality in Kathmandu, the vice-chairman of Sarkegad Rural Municipality in Humla, the vice-chairman of Gaurishankar Rural Municipality in Dolakha, and the ward chairperson of Belka Municipality-9 in Udayapur.

• Krishnaman Dangol of the Nepali Congress is leading in the Kirtipur Municipality Mayor's post. He is being followed by Surendra Manandhar of the UML.
• Debaki Timalsina of the CPN (Maoist Center) has maintained the lead in the Sarkegad Rural Municipality Vice-Chairperson's post in Humla. She is being followed by Savita Budha of the Nepali Congress.
• Nim Leki Sherpa of the Maoist Center, the candidate for the Gaurishankar Rural Municipality Vice-Chairperson's post in Dolakha, has maintained the lead. She is being followed by Uma Lungeli Magar Sherpa of the UML.
• Meanwhile, the counting of votes in Belka Municipality Ward No. 9 of Udayapur has begun at 5 pm today.

• Narapur Budha of the Maoist Center has won the post of vice-chairman of Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality in Rukum (Eastern part). He defeated Kesh Kumari Tulachanle of the Congress.
• Namo Narayan Majhi of the Maoist Center has won the post of chairperson of Gramthan Rural Municipality in Morang. He defeated Balram Sardar Tharu of the Congress.
• Janga Bahadur Shahi of the UML has won the post of chairperson of Mahabu Rural Municipality in Dailekh. He defeated Jhalak Bahadur Bhandari of the Congress.
• Debika Lamichhane of the Maoist has won the post of deputy chief of Nalgad Municipality in Jajarkot. She defeated Indra Chand (Singh) of the Congress.
• Sulochana Kumari Bhandari of the UML has won the post of vice-chairperson of Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality in Bajura. She defeated Pultisara Shahi of the Congress.
