Dec 05, Kathmandu- Tribhuvan University will hold a policy and politics (Senate) session on Mangsir 27.

The policy convention has been called after the policy was not discussed in the TU Senate held on Shrawan 15. According to TU spokesperson Yaman Bahadur Bohara, the existing policy of TU will be discussed. Various agendas related to rules and laws will be discussed in it. TU has prepared to amend various provisions of the Act. The Act will be amended through the convention. The policy convention, also known as TU's winter convention, will pass important decisions. TU has started discussions with the concerned bodies on this issue.

Shyam Raj Ojha, a member of the assembly and president of the University of ISU, said that he is also preparing for the convention. He has sought suggestions from ISUs across the country. TU has a system of holding assemblies twice a year, in the rainy season and winter season. On that basis, TU has called the winter convention.
