Dec 08, Kathmandu- Police have arrested 16 people while they were gambling in Dallu, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15, and Gairigaun, Nagarjuna Municipality-3, and made them public.

Central Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki informed that seven people, including Dil Bahadur, were arrested while gambling at the house of 60-year-old Dil Bahadur Lamgade, a resident of Dallu, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15, and nine people, including 47-year-old Dorje Lama, a resident of the same place, were arrested while gambling at the house of Harka Bahadur Gurung, a resident of Gairigaun, Nagarjun Municipality-3.

Police deployed from Swayambhu Police Circle have recovered Rs 63,280 in cash and three deck of cards from the arrested persons from Dil Bahadur's house and Rs 299,745 in cash and three book cards from the arrested persons from Dorje Lama's house.
