Dec 12, Kathmandu- A lack of quality healthcare in Nepal causes 66,000 deaths every year, said Achyutraj Pandey of the Nepal Health Economic Association on the occasion of 'Universal Access to Health Care Day' on Thursday.
He gave this information while presenting at the program. Studies have shown that more people die due to lack of quality services once they reach health services than due to access to health services. According to statistics, 19,000 people die due to lack of access to health services.
