Dec 15, Kathmandu- A woman who committed suicide on the banks of the Bagmati River in Kageshwori Manohara Municipality-8, Kathmandu, has died during treatment.

Kamala Acharya, 38, of Ratnanagar Municipality-12, Chitwan, passed away during treatment at Sushma Koirala Memorial Hospital in Sankhu. She had poured petrol on herself and set herself on fire after reaching Kirant Chowk on her scooter (Baa 35 Pa 5818) on Saturday. She lived with her family in Narayantar in Bouddha. Police have said that an investigation is underway into the cause of the incident.
