Pokhara Set A Target Of 154 Runs To Win Against Sudurpaschim

Dec 15, Kathmandu- Pokhara Avengers have been given a target of 154 runs to win against Sudurpaschim Royals in the second match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) being played today.

Sudurpaschim, who batted after Pokhara won the toss and elected to field at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, posted a total of 153 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Sudurpaschim's Arif Sheikh remained unbeaten on 42 runs. He hit 2 boundaries and 1 six in 38 balls.

Brandon McMullen added 23 and captain Deependra Singh Airee added 20. Ishan Pandey retired after making 10 runs.

Binod Bhandari returned to the pavilion with 14 and Harmeet Singh with 13 runs.

Kushal Bhurtel, the captain of Pokhara, took 2 wickets. Michael Lisk, Raymond Reifer and Sagar Dhakal each took one wicket to their name.
