Dec 15, Kathmandu- Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Devendra Dahal has emphasized that auto entrepreneurs should not only assemble cars in the country but also engage in production.
At the 48th annual general meeting of the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, Minister Dahal said that electric vehicles are both important and necessary in today's times.
"The government is working on infrastructure backup for electric vehicles. The government has taken this seriously," he said.
Minister Dahal said that the government has also paid attention to the issue of battery management.
“There is a challenge in battery management, but it is not a matter of panic, it is a global challenge,” he said. “There should be discussions between businessmen and the government on the policy to be made by the government.”
