Dec 16, Kathmandu- Police have arrested two people with about 126 kg of marijuana from Sunsari and Chitwan.

Police have arrested 31-year-old Dhan Bahadur Bhandari, a resident of Dharan Sub-metropolitan City-17, with about 123 kg 390 grams of illegal marijuana from Sunsari, Dharan Sub-metropolitan City-17 on Sunday night.

Police deployed from the Temporary Police Post Railway Dharan found the amount of marijuana in seven bags while checking the auto bearing the registration number Province 1-02-002 Ha 1655 and arrested the driver, Dhan Bahadur.

Similarly, police arrested 46-year-old Sarad Lamsal, a resident of Ratnanagar Municipality-10, Nipni Chowk, Chitwan, on Sunday evening with 2 kg 864 grams of illegal marijuana. The police stationed from the area police office Ratnanagar Tandi arrested him with the said marijuana. The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
