Dec 16, Kathmandu- Tiktok has held discussions with Safety Ambassadors to raise digital safety awareness in Nepal.
The program featured a panel discussion with famous content creators from Nepal, including Osin Sitaula, Parakram Rana, Manjita Manandhar (My Darling Food), Sushant Pradhan, Rashtra Bimochan Timalsena, Shree Pandey, and others.
Panelists, including Nepal's creator community and journalists, discussed various aspects of digital safety, including misinformation, harassment, cyberbullying, and online fraud, advocating for responsible use of the internet and safe content creation.
On that occasion, suggestions and guidelines were also given to the guests of the program on how to become a good content creator by creating attractive content.

Another factor in Tiktok's popularity, which is praised for its new and diverse community, is its strong focus on safety for both users and the platform. The company said the #Safertogether campaign in Nepal is another positive step in that direction for the platform.
