Dec 17, Kathmandu- The team of the film 'Laaj Sharanam' has provided the aid of Rs 50,000 to cancer sufferer Nawaraj Neupane for his treatment expenses.

Director Kumar Kattel 'Jigri', actors Arjun Ghimire 'Pade', Harish Niraula 'Krakoch' and others visited Neupane's residence, who has been battling cancer for two years, and handed over the assistance. They also encouraged Neupane to increase his self-confidence.

Neupane from Sindhupalchowk came to Nepal two years ago after being diagnosed with blood cancer while working in Kuwait. Neupane, who is currently undergoing treatment, is facing difficulties in further treatment due to his weak financial condition. Neupane also creates literature.

The film 'Laj Sharanam', produced by the team of the famous TV series 'Sakkigo Ni', is preparing to be released from Falgun 14.
