Winner Of The NPL Will Receive A Prize Of Rs 11 Million

Dec 17, Kathmandu- The winning team of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket will receive a prize of Rs 11 million.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced the prize money in a press release today. According to CAN, the winner will receive Rs 11 million, the runner-up Rs 5.1 million, the third-place team Rs 2.5 million and the fourth-place team Rs 1.5 million.

Out of eight teams participating in the first edition of the NPL, organized by CAN, Janakpur Bolts, Sudurpaschim Royals, Chitwan Rhinos, and Karnali Yaks have reached the NPL playoffs.

Tomorrow, in the Eliminator, third-placed Chitwan and fourth-placed Karnali will play at 9 am. The winner of this match will advance to the second qualifier, while the losing team will be eliminated.

Tomorrow, at 1 pm, the first qualifier will be played between top-placed Sudurpaschim and second-placed Janakpur. The winner of this match will advance directly to the final, while the losing team will play the winner of the Eliminator in the second qualifier.

The second qualifier will be played on Thursday at 12 noon. The winner of this match will advance to the final, while the losing team will be eliminated from the competition. The final will be played next Saturday.
