Dec 17, Kathmandu- The Kathmandu District Court has orderd to keep Shova Pathak, who came into the limelight after filing a complaint against CPN-UML leader Mahesh Basnet, in police custody for three days.
Police had taken him into custody from the Kathmandu District Court premises on Monday. On Tuesday, the police produced him in court.
The police arrested him based on Rajkumar Tripathi's complaint that he had posted obscene content on Facebook and made insulting expressions.
The Swayambhu Police Circle is preparing to investigate and file a case against Pathak for cybercrime.
She was arrested earlier based on a complaint that she had made defamatory statements on social media.
