Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Arrives In New Delhi

Dec 19, Kathmandu- Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has arrived in New Delhi, India. She left from Berlin, the capital of Germany, on Wednesday and arrived in New Delhi this morning.

Foreign Minister Rana, who landed at the New Delhi airport at 8:30 am, was welcomed by officials of the Nepali Embassy in India.

Foreign Minister Rana arrived in India after visiting Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Germany. While in Germany, she participated in the Conference on the Rights of Sexual and Gender Minorities-2024.

During this, she discussed the challenges of violence, oppression and systemic inequality faced by gender minorities around the world.

She also expressed her views on the potential of a feminist foreign policy to bring about long-term change, pointing out the need for a fundamental transformation in policy.
