Prakash Saput's 'Basanta' Wraps Up In 38 Days

Dec 19, Kathmandu- The entire shooting of singer and actor Prakash Saput's debut directorial film 'Basanta' has been completed.

According to the production team, the entire shooting of the film was wrapped up in 38 days. The last shot of the film was shot on Wednesday and wrapped up in Kathmandu.

Saput says that he and his team have worked hard to produce the film, which is set to be released on Chaitra 22, on the occasion of Chaite Dashain.

The film has been shot in various locations in Baglung, director Saput's birthplace, Kathmandu, and the Terai.

Along with Prakash Saput, the film will feature actors including Swastima Khadka, Prabhat Pal Thakuri, Khadka Bahadur Pun (Khabpu), Shivanshi Shree, Anup Baral, Kamalmani Nepal, and Prakash Ghimire.

The story, screenplay and music of this social drama movie have been prepared by Saput himself. The movie tells the story of a son from the poor Bishwakarma community who dreams of becoming a writer and struggles to achieve his goal.

The executive producers of the movie, presented by Galbandi Productions, are Mohan Vishwakarma, Anuradh Bhattarai and Nana Thakali. The cinematography is directed by Susan Prajapati.
