Dec 20, Kathmandu- A person in Nepal has been confirmed to have monkeypox (Mpox). A Nepali who returned from Saudi Arabia has tested positive for Mpox, according to a Health Ministry source.
The patient who tested positive for Mpox is being treated at Teku Hospital. Earlier, on Asadha 1, a foreign woman was confirmed to have Mpox. This is the first case of monkeypox being seen in Nepal.
