Dec 21, Kathmandu- A blood donation program was organized on Saturday at the Kalanki Temple premises under the joint organization of the Kathmandu District Committee of the Nepal Sports Federation and the Geeta Panchayan Marg Welfare Organization.

Inaugurating the blood donation program, federal MP Krishna Gopal Shrestha expressed his belief that such social activities would help in social change.

As Nepal is becoming known on the world stage due to the youth of today entering the sports field and taking the lead in introducing Nepal to the world, the Sports Federation also suggested that the cricket field, which is becoming popular in Nepal, should be promoted by continuing such creative work.
