Siraha Customs Collects Over The Expected Revenue

Dec 23, Kathmandu- Siraha Customs Office has exceeded its revenue target in the five months of the current fiscal year 2081-82. During that period, the office has collected five million five hundred and forty thousand revenue.

According to Chief Customs Officer Toyanath Sapkota, the office had set a target of collecting Rs 48.852 crore in revenue in five months. The office has collected 41.67 percent of the annual target revenue during that period.

According to the monthly report released by the office, in the current fiscal year, revenue collection was Rs 9.795 million in Shrawan, Rs 1.772 million in Bhadra, Rs 1.276 million in Asoj, Rs 1.417 million in Kartik and Rs 9.280 million in Mangsir.

Compared to the five months of the previous fiscal year, revenue has increased by Rs 27.747 million in the same period of the current fiscal year. According to the office, revenue collection was Rs 23.893 million in the five months of the previous fiscal year.

The revenue collection target for the current fiscal year is Rs 121.92 crore. Siraha has the Siraha Customs Office in Madar, the Choti Customs Office in Bariyapatti, and the Thadi Customs Office in Bhagwanpur.
