Dec 24, Kathmandu- Former Miss Nepal Namrata Shrestha's debut film 'Rangi' is set to be released in Japan as well. The producer sold the distribution rights of the film to Yuna Entertainment on Monday.

In Nepal, the film is set to be released in theaters on Falgun 2. Directed by Suresh Neupane, the film stars Namrata, Salon Basnet, Dilip Rayamajhi, Ayushi Dhakal, Uttam KC, and others.

The film is based on the emotional relationship between a father and daughter. According to the film's motion poster, Salon and Namrata play the role of a couple in it. Salon started his career as a producer with this film.

Namrata is the winner of Miss Nepal World 2022. She is currently working as a host on the television comedy show 'Comedy Durbar'. Before that, she also hosted the singing reality show 'Nepal Lokstar' on Himalaya TV.

‘Rangi’ is produced by Karishma KC, who is also Salon’s wife, and Saksham Subedi. It has a screenplay by Suman Gajmer, cinematography by Saurabh Lama, and music by Durgesh Thapa, Amesh Bhandari, and Bhim BC.
