Dec 26, Kathmandu- The Japanese distribution rights for the film 'Dukhi Atma' starring Dayahang Rai and Aanchal Sharma have been sold.
UNA Entertainment has purchased the rights for the film to be released in Japan. UNA chief Ujjwal Guragain said that the rights were purchased because of the demand for 'Dukhi Atma' in Japan.
The production team has not disclosed the amount for which they sold the film's Japanese screening rights.
Written and directed by Dipendra Lama, 'Dukhi Atma' stars Dayahang and Aanchal along with Anup Vikram Shahi, Buddhi Tamang, Rare Rai, Lokendra Ukhtar, Ashant Sharma and other actors.
The film, which is scheduled to be released in Nepal on Falgun 2, will also be released in Japan on the same date, according to UNA. The film, produced under the banner of Clockwork Creation, is produced by Himal Kadariya. The film, executive produced by Sudip Dhakal, is directed by Alok Shukla and edited by Nimesh Shrestha.
Producer Kadaria informed that there is demand for the film from other countries as well. The first look poster of this film was released just a few days ago.
