Dec 26, Kathmandu- Twelve musicians are set to perform at the National Traditional Food Festival organized by Bharatpur Metropolitan City on the occasion of Visit Bharatpur Year 2024. Mayor Renu Dahal gave this information at a press conference organized in Bharatpur on Thursday.

It is said that the festival will be held in the premises of Janaki Secondary School in Meghauli from Paush 12 to 26. A cultural program has also been organized on the occasion.

The metropolis has announced the names of 12 artists for musical performances. They include Raju Pariyar, Badri Pangeni, Samikshya Adhikari, Bhumika Giri, Renuka Bhattarai, Asmita Dallakoti, The Eras Band, Dhakaram Poudel, Mukti Sapkota, Kushal Belbase, Yamlal Bhandari, Arjun Sapkota, among others. It is said that they will perform during the festival period.

Pariyar and Dallakoti will perform on Friday, Paush 12. It is reported that Badri and Renuka will perform on Paush 13, Rameshraj and Dhakaram along with The Eras Band on Paush 15, Bhumika and Kushal on Pasuh 16, and Samiksha and The Eras Band on Paush 13.

On the occasion of Metropolitan Day this month, Kathmandu Metropolitan City also organized a musical program in Tundikhel, where 19 musicians performed.
