Fake Doctor Who Came To Treat Diabetes Patient Loots Gold, Silver And Rs. 3 Lakh

Dec 27, Kathmandu- A team of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has arrested a fake doctor who was involved in robbery giving drugs to make people unconscious on the pretext of treating diabetes. The arrested person is Jitendra Mandal, who identifies himself as Dr. Alok.

According to the Police, Mandal, who is from Mahottari, used to make friends with people on social media and used to go to the house of a diabetic patient, claiming to treat them with administered medicine and made them unconscious and committed the robbery.

According to the Police, Mandal, who arrived posing as a fake doctor stole gold and silver jewellery, including chains, rings, earrings, necklace, and three hundred thousand rupees in cash from a room.

Police have said that Mandal had reached Nuwakot after a complaint was filed against him for allegedly robbing a person posing as a fake doctor. Police have said that he was arrested from Nuwakot. Police have recovered an Apple mobile phone, a Vivo mobile phone, a Samsung mobile phone and Rs 59,360 in cash from Mandal.

Jitendra has now been sent to Satdobato Police Circle for necessary investigation and action in connection with the theft.
