'Trophy Parade' On The Victory Of Janakpur Bolts Players In Janakpurdham

Dec 27, Kathmandu- Players of Janakpur Bolts, the winners of the first edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), participated in the 'Trophy Parade' in Janakpurdham today.

The players, who arrived in Janakpur on Thursday night, have started a trophy parade in Madhesh Province from today. Under this, a grand city parade was held in Janakpurdham on the first day.

The trophy parade, which started in the morning from Ram Janaki International Stadium, passed through Thapa Chowk, Pidari Chowk, Ramananda Chowk, Bajrang Chowk, Bhramarpura Chowk, Zero Mile, Bishwakarma Chowk, Murali Chowk, Ram Chowk and ended at Janaki Temple.

The civic society, sports enthusiasts, and others from Janakpurdham participated in the Nagar Parikrama.

Janakpur Bolts emerged victorious in the NPL final held on December 20, defeating Sudurpaschim Royals by five wickets.
