Dec 31, Kathmandu- Popular reality shows are going broadcast on Nepali television in the English New Year 2025. Reality shows ranging from business to music, adventure, modelling, and comedy are about to arrive.

With the advent of different genres of reality shows, it is expected to encompass the diversity of audience interests and desires. Out of which some of the shows have been officially announced and some are in preparation.

Himalaya TV is making efforts to bring different tastes and styles of reality shows to the audience by increasing its investment in keeping with the audience's interests. Eight highly anticipated reality shows will be aired on Himalaya TV alone in 2025.

Among the most anticipated reality shows, the business reality show ‘Shark Tank Nepal’ will be the first. The Nepal edition of this show, which is distributed worldwide by Sony Pictures TV, is the 54th franchise. The show, which is being produced with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and investment, is set to start broadcasting from April.

The show will be directed by Simos Sunuwar of 'Himalaya Roadies' fame. Five entrepreneurs will pitch their business and entrepreneurial ideas in each episode, making a total of 100 entrepreneurs in 20 episodes. It is said that the show will raise an investment of Rs 300 to 400 million.

The first fashion-based reality show, ‘Nepal’s Next Top Model’ Season 1, is set to be broadcast from Falgun-Chaitra. Its judges have now been decided and applications are being prepared to open.

The musical reality show ‘Voice of Nepal’, with two seasons 6 and 7, is set to be broadcast by 2025. The sixth season is set to air from Magh 4. The sixth season is set to end in Baisakh and the seventh season will be launched in the upcoming Dashain.

The seventh season of Himalaya Roadies will also come out in the new year. The sixth season is currently being broadcast. The fourth season of Voice Kids is also being prepared to come out in the same year.

It is said that a singing reality show based on folk songs, 'Nepal Lokstar', will also come out in 2025. A comedy reality show, 'Comedy Nights with Champion', directed by Vishal Bhandari, is also being prepared to come out from next Magh.

Looking at it this way, the lineup of reality shows on Himalaya TV looks strong.
