Dec 31, Kathmandu- The 18th edition of the joint military exercise 'Surya Kiran' between Nepal and India has begun at the Nepal Army's Integrated Military Training Center in Saljhandi, Rupandehi, on Monday.
The Indian Embassy in Nepal has announced the start of the military exercise on social media. The exercise, which will be conducted in the Shivalik Hills of Nepal, will continue until January 13, 2025. The main objective of the military exercise is to strengthen mutual coordination and cooperation between the armies of the two countries for counter-terrorism operations, the Indian Embassy said.
