Jan 03, Kathmandu- The second edition of the Bharatpur Mayor's Cup Inter-School Cricket Tournament has started today (Friday).

A program of the tournament was jointly organized by Bharatpur Metropolitan City Mayor Renu Dahal and Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) Secretary Paras Khadka. Addressing the program, Secretary Khadka mentioned that the next edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) can be organized at the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium in Chitwan.

For this, he opined that everyone should move forward to complete the construction work of the stadium. He expressed special thanks to Bharatpur Metropolitan City Mayor Renu Dahal for loving Nepali cricket so closely. He said that the participation of 47 teams in the school level cricket league was very positive.
