Jan 05, Kathmandu- Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that dissolving the elected parliament is unacceptable in any sense.
He mentioned this in the political report presented at the eighth meeting of the UML Central Committee currently sitting in Chyasal.
The report states, "We are in favor of the immediate restoration of democracy in Myanmar. The dissolution of the elected parliament, the imprisonment of elected representatives, and the violent suppression of peaceful protests are unacceptable in any sense."
He expressed concern over the growing right-wing extremism in South Asia and the military interventions in various countries against democracy.
Oli said that he is against wars and external interference in any territory.
He also said that regional cooperation efforts in South Asia have been hampered due to tensions between India and Pakistan.
