Match Between The Army And the Police Also Ended In A Draw

Jan 06, Kathmandu- The match between Tribhuvan Army Club and Nepal Police Club in the Jay Trophy Men's Elite Cup has also ended in a draw.

The matches held at the Narayani Cricket Ground in Birgunj on Sunday and Monday ended in a draw. Meanwhile, the match between Madhesh Pradesh and Bagmati Pradesh has ended in a draw.

Batting in reply to a target of 172 runs in the second innings on Monday, Police scored 88 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 42 overs.

Amit Shrestha scored 36 runs for Police. Others could not perform well.

For Army, Akash Chand and Sahab Alam took 2 wickets each.

Earlier, Army had scored 175 runs when they were all out in 52.6 overs in their second innings.

Army was all out for 121 runs in the first innings.

While Police were all out for 125 runs in their first innings, they took a lead of 4 runs.

After winning the toss, the Police decided to bowl first.
