Jan 07, Kathmandu- The belongings of Nepali students who were killed in the Hamas attack in Israel have been handed over to the students and their families. On October 7, 2023, when Hamas attacked Israel, 10 Nepali students participating in the "Learn and Earn Program" were killed and 4 others were injured.
The Israeli Embassy in Nepal has taken the initiative to return the belongings of Nepali students who were left behind after the attack. Ambassador Shmulik Arie Bass called them to the embassy and handed over the belongings.
Ambassador Smulim met with six other students and their families, including Dhan Bahadur Chaudhary, who survived the incident. He listened to the stories of the victims' families and expressed his condolences, the embassy said. The embassy also prayed for the immediate release of Bipin Joshi, who is being held by Hamas.
