Jan 09, Kathmandu- There has been a jeep accident in Rukum East. The jeep (Ga 1 Ja 7108) coming from Pokhara in Kaski to Rukumkot in Rukum East met with an accident at Dharapani, Sisne Rural Municipality-5 at 3:30 am this morning.

Deputy Superintendent of Police and (DSP) Madhav Raj Kharel of District Police Office Rukum East informed that four people were injured in the accident. According to DSP Kharel, the injured are 22-year-old Prem Kami of Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality-5, 21-year-old Jutes Sherpali, a jeep driver from the same place, 18-year-old Sarparaj Deva of Bara, and 18-year-old Chand Kumar Deva of Bara.

It is said that the accident occurred when the brakes of the jeep failed while bagging. The injured were treated at the Rukum East Hospital and are currently undergoing treatment at the Rukum West District Hospital.
