Jan 09, Kathmandu- The Kaski District Court has ordered the release of former Home Minister and Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane on bail.

After about three months of investigation and detention hearings, the bench of Judge Nitij Rai ordered the release of Lamichhane on a bail of 6.5 million rupees. Rabi Lamichhane was arrested from the central office on Kartik 2 on charges of embezzling cooperative funds by transferring them to Gorkha Media Network Pvt. Ltd. An arrest warrant was issued against him by the District Court, Kaski.
