Jan 10, Kathmandu- The government has decided to extend the terms of office of Armed Police Deputy Inspector Generals Kamal Giri, Ganesh Bahadur Thadamagar, Kul Bahadur Nembang, and Shambhu Subedi by one year.

Minister for Information and Communications Technology and government spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung gave this information while making public the decisions of the Council of Ministers meeting held on Paush 23 today.

The meeting has decided to depute Joint Secretary Bishnu Prasad Sharma as the Executive Director of the Special Structure Operation and Management Development Committee. He informed that the meeting has approved the authority of Deputy Auditor General Bamdev Sharma to participate in the ‘Workshop on Enhancing SAI-CSO Engagement in the ASOSAI Region’ program to be held in Manila, Philippines from 28 to 30 Magh.

According to Minister Gurung, the Council of Ministers has approved the Minister of State for Forests and Environment to participate in a program related to climate change to be held in Rome, Italy from Falgun 12 to 15.
