Jan 10, Kathmandu- Last Tuesday, the Trust for Alleviating Problems of Nepali Community in Tibet provided Rs 3,717,530 collected from the Nepali community living in Lhasa to the earthquake victims of Dingri County, Tibet Autonomous Region of China, with the facilitation of the Nepali Consulate General in Lhasa.
At a program organized today at the Red Cross office in Lhasa, Chairman of the Trust for Alleviating Problems of Nepali Community in Tibet, Kunjo Dharke Nepali, handed over the aid to Lhasa Red Cross Chief Liu Yidong.
According to the Consulate General in Lhasa, while accepting the aid, Chairman Liu expressed his gratitude to the Consulate General, the Welfare Fund, and the Nepali community. On that occasion, Chairman Liu and Consul General Laxmi Prasad Niraula discussed various aspects of Nepal-China relations.
