Three Sri Lankan Players Arrive In Nepal For NKL

Jan 10, Kathmandu- Three players have arrived from Sri Lanka to play in the Nepal Kabaddi League (NKL).

Sri Lankan players Ahangama Polwattha Galappatth, Laxmamohan Thanushan and Dilan Sanjaya have arrived in Kathmandu.

Thanushan and Sanjaya are playing for Janakpur Knights. Galappatth will play for Dhangadhi Wildcats in the NKL.

The first edition of the NKL franchise team competition will be held from Magh 4 to 18 at the Covered Hall in Tripureshwor. 18 foreign players are participating in it, including 6 from Thailand, 6 from Bangladesh, 3 from Sri Lanka, and 3 from Kenya.

Six teams from six cities are competing in the franchise competition organized by Astronics Management.

Biratnagar Bandits, Janakpur Knights, Kathmandu Mavericks, Pokhara Lakers, Himalayan Raiders, and Dhangadhi Wildcats are playing in the first season of the NKL.
