Jan 11, Kathmandu- An international communications center was inaugurated in , the provincial capital, on Saturday, aiming to strengthen ties between northeastern China's Jilin Province and the rest of the world.
According to Bai Yu, an official with the provincial publicity department, the new center is designed as a platform to promote mutual understanding and cultural exchange and to increase the effectiveness of international communication.
Jilin is not only home to years of rich cultural heritage, but also an important northern gateway to China's opening-up. It is also a major center of cultural exchange in Northeast Asia.
The province also launched an international communication center to shed light on wildlife conservation. China officially established the Northeast China Tiger and Leopard National Park in 2021.
