Jan 11, Kathmandu- A Nepali woman has died in a road accident in the European country of Malta.

25-year-old Gauri Kumari Baral, a resident of Bardibas Municipality-3 in Mahottari district, died during treatment. She went to Malta in December 2022 for employment.

She was seriously injured in a road accident on January 5 and died on Saturday morning while undergoing treatment, said NRNA Malta President Rem Lal Khanal Rems.

He said that NRNA Malta is facilitating the sending of the body of the deceased to Nepal in consultation with the deceased's family.
