Jan 12, Kathmandu- An online recommendation service for obtaining citizenship certificates is set to be launched in the district.

Chief District Officer Ram Bahadur Shahi informed that preparations are being made to launch this service in all eight local levels of the district from next Magh.

Previously, a meeting was held with the heads of local levels and the heads of the District Coordination Committees to discuss the recommendations online.

Pradya Shahi said, 'Online citizenship recommendation has been taken forward through the Centralized Citizenship Information Management System of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Citizenship recommendation can be given through the online system. Necessary training will be provided to the employees for this.'
