Jan 12, Kathmandu- The fifth rural municipality-level President Running Shield competition has concluded in Dogadakedar Rural Municipality of Baitadi district. The competition, which began on Paush 24 in Lovelek, Dogadakedar-7, concluded on Saturday.

Eleven schools from the rural municipality participated in the competition. Among the participating schools, Shree Kedar Secondary School, Dogadakedar-4, Pipalkot, came first. Shree Kedar Secondary School came first and won eight gold, three silver and three bronze medals.

Sanatan Dharma Secondary School, Dogadakedar-3, Srikot, secured second place with six gold, seven silver and nine bronze medals, while Bhagwati Secondary School, Sittad, secured third place with six gold, three silver and four bronze medals.

The competition was held under the chairmanship of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality Chairman Chakra Karki, while Pancheshwor Rural Municipality Chairman Gorakh Bahadur Chand was the chief guest.
