Jan 12, Kathmandu- New Delhi, India, has been hit by thick fog on Sunday.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a warning of rain with thunder and hail has been issued in the Indian capital Delhi, while the minimum temperature on Sunday morning was measured at 12 degrees Celsius.
The India Gate audio-visual report said that the visibility in the national capital New Delhi was almost zero.
“On Saturday, the national capital received light rain and the minimum temperature dropped to 7.7 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, cities like Kanpur and Gwalior also witnessed dense fog. According to the IMD, the average temperature in Delhi on Saturday was recorded at 11 degrees Celsius.
Despite the adverse weather, no flights were diverted or cancelled at Indira Gandhi International Airport. However, due to the fog, many trains faced delays in their services.
