Jan 12, Kathmandu- The Order to hand over Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, who appeared in the district court in connection with the Swarnalakshmi Cooperative fraud case in Kathmandu, to the police has been issued. The bench of District Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari ordered him to be presented in the court on Monday. 

When he appeared in court on Sunday morning, RSP chairman Lamichhane's statement was taken throughout the day. 

Senior advocates Sushil Pant and Raman Shrestha had reached the court for the argument after Lamichhane's statement. However, the judge made this order after the government side raised the issue in the bench that they could not argue today as they had not studied Lamichhane's statement. Lamichhane, who was released on bail from Pokhara following this order of the district, is to be taken into judicial custody today.
