Jan 13, Kathmandu- Foreign Minister Arzu Rana has confirmed that Bipin Joshi, who was kidnapped by Hamas, is safe. Minister Rana made this statement while speaking at a meeting of the International Relations Committee of Parliament on Monday. 

At the meeting, she said, "Bipin brother is safe. I will make sure he returns home soon". She said that she had spoken to the Qatari ambassador on the phone about this matter, and the ambassador had assured her that he will speak to the foreign minister there.

She said, "I have spoken to the Qatari ambassador on the phone. He said he would talk to the foreign minister there. He said he would talk to the Qatari foreign minister on the phone tomorrow".

Minister Rana said that earlier there were reports that 34 people were going to be released, but later there were reports that they were not. She also said that in July there were reports that Israel had already sent a list of women and children to Hamas.
