Jan 14, Kathmandu- On the occasion of Maghi festival, President Ram Chandra Paudel has organized a program to exchange greetings at Sheetal Niwas.

The Vice President, Prime Minister, Speaker, Deputy Speaker, and ministers, along with high-ranking officials, are participating in the exchange of greetings program organized on Tuesday.

A feast of ghee, chaku, and yams has also been organized at Sheetal Niwas today to mark the occasion of Maghe Sankranti.

The Tharu community celebrates Maghi, while other communities celebrate Maghe Sankranti on Magh 1. On this occasion, the Tharu and Magar communities have organized different programs in Tundikhel, Kathmandu.
