The Nepali Embassy in Berlin, Germany, has issued an urgent notice in this regard. The urgent notice issued by the embassy publicly states that social media platforms including Tiktok and Facebook have been used to spread false information and to spread enticements.

The embassy has also made a public request to everyone to remain working in the country for which they have duly obtained a work permit from Nepal and not fall for such temptations.

Alerting those involved in illegal activities, the embassy has called on victims to file complaints with the embassy, ​​along with evidence, against those involved in such activities.
