Nepal, who were invited to bat after losing the toss in Bangi, Malaysia, have been facing a drought of runs as wickets continue to fall. At the end of the 12 overs, Nepal has scored 35 runs and lost 5 wickets. Batsman Sana, who was batting with composure, was dismissed for 19 runs.
Nepal captain Pooja Mahato was dismissed after scoring 2 runs off 18 balls. She was run out. Earlier, opener Sabitri Dhami was dismissed after scoring 1 run off 6 balls.
This is the first time Nepal has participated in the World Cup.
