Ministry Of Education Addressed The School's Financial And Physical Infrastructure Problems

Jan 20, Kathmandu- The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has held discussions on the financial and physical infrastructure problems of schools. A team led by House of Representatives MP Sita Gurung and Education Minister Bidya Bhattarai, who arrived at the ministry on Sunday, discussed the problems of Jagriti Basic School, Phidim-4, Salghari, Panchthar.

The school provides residential education to orphaned and vulnerable children. Still, the school's financial and physical resources are minimal. Hence, the discussion focused on the immediate support that can be provided and the measures that need to be adopted to solve the problem in the long term.

In the discussion, Minister Bhattarai directed to develop a chain mechanism for this, develop a system of transfer and overall management, coordinate with the concerned local municipalities, and mobilize available scholarships.

On the same occasion, she directed the leadership to take necessary action on issues that can be addressed by the Ministry and the Education and Human Resource Development Center for the time being.

Minister Bhattarai said that work will be done considering the policy issues that need to be adopted for the overall development of schools where such students study in the long term.
