Nepal Returns To Form Against Scotland, Secures Sixth Win

Jan 20, Kathmandu- Nepal has achieved its sixth success against Scotland as part of the ongoing ICC U-19 Women's T-20 World Cup cricket tournament in Malaysia.

Scotland's sixth wicket was lost while chasing the target of 74 runs set by Nepal for victory at the UKM Oval Cricket Ground in Malaysia. Pippa Spral is at the crease. She is playing 25 runs off 37 balls, which is a challenge for Nepal.

Scotland currently needs 35 runs off 36 balls.

Earlier, Nepal won the toss and batted first and scored 73 runs in 18.5 overs for the loss of all wickets. Captain Pooja Mahato scored the highest score for Nepal with 27 runs. She hit three fours in 43 balls. Similarly, Savitri Dhami scored 10 runs. Other players could not score runs in double figures.

On the bowling side, Maisie McIrra alone took five wickets for Scotland. Similarly, Ami Baldi and Naima Sheikh took two wickets each and Christy Myacol took one wicket.
