Jan 23, Kathmandu- Makawanpur police have arrested a person with a loaded gun.

A team deployed from the Area Police Office, Manahari, arrested 52-year-old Jeet Bahadur Thing, a resident of Gaduwan, Raksirang Rural Municipality-1, Makawanpur, with a loaded gun from the Hariyali Community Forest in Manahari Rural Municipality-9.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyam Aryal, spokesperson of the District Police Office, informed that 13 iron ball bearings of various sizes, 33 iron-like objects of various sizes, 305 grams of gunpowder, 24 stone-like objects, and a khukuri were seized from him while he was carrying a loaded gun without a license.

The police have initiated an investigation into a case related to weapons and ammunition.
