Jan 24, Kathmandu- The arrest of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane is being kept under observation.

Lamichhane appeared in the Rupandehi District Court last Wednesday to give his statement in the Butwal Supreme Cooperative fraud case. The statement was heard throughout the day on Wednesday in the bench of Judge Pralhad Kumar Yogi, and closed arguments have been going on since Thursday.

Eight government lawyers argued on Thursday. At the beginning of Friday, the lawyers on behalf of the Defendant had an argument. Then, senior advocates Sushil Panta and Surendra Thapa argued on behalf of the defendants.

After the arguments are over, the defendant and the defendant's lawyers will make counterarguments. Then the court will issue the order.
