Trump's Deportation Campaign Continues, Hundreds Of Immigrants Arrested

Jan 24, Kathmandu- Hundreds of immigrants in the United States have been arrested on Thursday and some were taken out of the country on military aircraft, the White House said, as US President Donald Trump launched a mass deportation campaign.

The news circulated as President Trump was preparing to make his first visit to California and North Carolina on Friday.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that the Trump administration arrested 538 illegal immigration criminals on Thursday and hundreds were deported by military aircraft.

Trump promised to crack down on illegal immigration during his campaign and included it in an executive order aimed at improving entry into the United States at the start of his second term this week.
