Jan 25, Kathmandu- 36 new leprosy patients have been found in Banke during the five-month period from Shrawan to Mangsir of the current fiscal year.
On the eve of World Leprosy Day 2081, journalists were informed about this through a program jointly organized by various organizations working on leprosy prevention including INF Banke, Health Office, BNMT Nepal.
Rabindra Shah, leprosy focal person at the District Health Office, Banke, said that 36 new leprosy patients were identified in various parts of the district during the five-month period from Shrawan to Mangsir of the current fiscal year.
